Parents
The need for Girl's Circles

The experience of many people right now is one of overwhelm as attention is increasingly paid to the needs of a world in break down and chaos. As a parent I am sure that you are feeling the impact of this right in your own home. What a perfect time to teach girls to create a circle space together that models in outer form the inner spaciousness where true essence resides. Wouldn’t it be great for them to learn how to make choices from that place of ‘flow’ instead of from a place of cultural and peer pressure?

The Feminine Model

The women who have created this opportunity have done so in the spirit of this ‘flow’ and so the integrity of the program is flushed with this kind of energy and we feel the process will continue in this way as it continues to include more girls.

What parents are saying....

"Thank you for giving my daugter a safe place where she can open her heart and be acknowledged. She loves being part of the Rose Circle."

Your commitment

When you decide that this program is right for your daughter, we ask you and your daughter to commit to a cycle of 6 – 8 sessions. We trust she will want to continue through the year but it helps to break it down to a manageable amount of time. The circles will be held at a time and place determined by the Mentors and agreed to by you. We want the girls to know that this is a commitment and of course, we are aware that if you, the parents, don’t agree to make arrangements to get them to the venue, then it probably won’t happen. There is a nominal fee for each cycle to help pay for materials and venue costs for their circle and also to help defray our minimal infrastructure costs. All of the Rose Circle Mentors, Trainers and Coordinators are volunteers.

Come to the Rose Circle Community Gathering on June 23, 2008 at EarthTeach Forest Park and find out more...

If you have a daughter age 11 – 16 and would like her to be a part of a supportive girls’ circle, come and meet other parents and girls. Hear them speak about their experience and explore the value of this opportunity.

Hope to see you and your daughter there....
